Lauren loves everything about the filming process and believes film is so important because it’s an escape, as well as it being an artistic way of dealing with taboo subjects.
She is a hard working and passionate Actress based in Manchester. Lauren studied Acting at Sutton Coldfield College, which is where she found her love for the craft. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, she decided to take a gap year and successfully auditioned for the National Youth Film Academy, receiving a place on the Set Ready course. The role she played in ‘Forgotten’ - the short film created on the Set Ready course - was a vulnerable one; allowing her to give a raw and honest performance.
Currently, Lauren is studying at The Institute of Contemporary Theatre in Manchester.
